Self Adhesive Vinyl. Commercial grade, permanent self-adhesive vinyl, over laminated for scratch resistance. For smooth flat surfaces only.
3mm PVC. Premium industry standard PVC sign board 3mm thick with high impact strength & excellent UV protection, over laminated for scratch resistance.
3mm Aluminium. A lightweight but extremely strong 3mm thick rigid aluminium composite panel with a nylon core ideal for long-term external use, over laminated for scratch resistance.
Other sizes available just ask.
Sign & STICKER Fixing Instructions
Self-adhesive vinyl stickers
*your vinyl sign comes on a wax backing paper which needs to be removed exposing the adhesive on the back.
For smooth flat surfaces CLEAN only.
*Important! Do not use any oil or wax-based products such as white spirit, turpentine or furnisher polish to clean the area as this will leave a residue that will stop your sign sticking.
We recommend Methylated spirits as this evaporates away in seconds & leaves no residue.
*not suitable for brick, render or textured surfaces!
Ensure the area that your sign is being applied to is dry & clean. Mark where the sign is to be fixed with a piece of tape. Remove sign from backing paper & position, use a squeegee or credit card & work from the middle out.
PVC & Aluminium signs
We recommend that you pre-drill your sign before fixing if using screws
*(Do not try to nail or screw through the sign without drilling).
It is advisable that you use a drill bit that is 2mm larger than the screws that are to be used, this allows for expansion & contraction due to temperature changes.
If you use an adhesive such as ‘No Nails’ you will need to support the sign until the adhesive has cured.
We do not pre-drill our signs unless specifically requested to do so.
Holes can be added but not removed!
Maintenance
Use a mild detergent to wash your sign to keep it looking bright for years to come.
Stubborn marks can be removed with Methylated spirits.
